Dumnonian Cross
The Dumnonians were the people who lived in olden times in
the area of the south west of Britain that is now Devon and
Cornwall, our Celtic ancestors. They worshipped many gods and
spirits and the Celtic crosses with their circular outline are
associated with sun worship. Our delightful little cross with
knotwork and a lovely blue abalone cabochon at it centre has
proved to be very popular and is available as a pendant in two
sizes on 450mm (18 inch) and 400mm (16 inch) chains or
a brooch to match the larger pendant and as drop earrings. The
earrings have surgical steel hooks to reduce the risk of allergic

This Celtic Cross, carved from granite in the eighth century,
stands in the churchyard at Cardinham, Bodmin Moor. The hand

This pretty 'Maltese' shaped cross, covered with intricate
knotwork is dedicated to St Aidan. St Aidan was an Irish monk
who came from Columba's monastery at Iona to Northumberland
at the request of the Saxon King Oswald and established the
church at Lindisfarne in 635AD. The cross is available as a

St Petroc Cross
This substantial Celtic Cross with a garnet cabochon at its
centre is dedicated to St Petroc, a monk who came from Wales
to Padstow in Cornwall in the early sixth century to establish
a Christian community. The cross is available as a pendant in

Morvoren is the Cornish word for mermaid. For the Celts the
unending knotwork symbolised the continuity between the different
