Extraordinary interlaced animal forms are often found depicted
in Celtic
Manuscripts . These lions come from an initial letter in
the Book of Kells,
illuminated by Celtic monks in the 7th century. The necklet

The Camhayle Brooch
"Cam-hayle" is Cornish for "crooked estuary"
and is the origin of the name of the River Camel in North Cornwall.
Our Camhayle Booch is a traditional penannular brooch in hand
polished pewter with a robust 2mm pin and set with a pair of
amber cabochons. The brooch is richly covered with Celtic designs
of entwined birds, spirals, knotwork and key patterns and is

granite slab and is now in the Kirkyard at Inverurie in Aberdeenshire. To
