Piran Pewter Company is based in Padstow in Cornwall,
UK and specialises in the manufacture of Celtic Jewellery and Giftware in pewter.
The Company is named after St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall and of tinners
who, according to legend, sailed across from Ireland on a millstone and discovered
how to smelt tin when he lit his fire over rocks containing tin ore.
The Celts were known as gifted metal smiths and designers, Piran Pewter carries
on their traditions today with a range of Celtic Jewellery in lead free pewter.
